This includes movements like the squat, deadlift, push up, lunge, row, overhead press, plank, and more. You’ll also work on your conditioning because most people come to us deconditioned. You’ll also learn how to exercise for maximum results, and see the value of coaching.

The right fit at HEALTH3 has nothing to do with your physical abilities, and everything to do with your character. We protect you, our members and our team from anyone who might add negativity, say things that are disrespectful, and people who aren’t interested in being coached. As long as you are kind and coachable you will excel at HEALTH3!
HEALTH3 is a fitness and nutrition coaching company. We want you to start exercising, find a program you love, tweak it over time, and never stop. We tailor everything to you because we understand everyone is unique.
Because we designed our programs with you in mind, we created an OnRamp program, to start you off with, that sets you up for long term success.
What is the HEALTH3 OnRamp Program?
We know that some people prefer personal training – an environment that allows for focus on your body at all of its limitations, strengths, weaknesses and pain, others prefer semi-private training – a small group of 2-4 people training together while do their own individualized programming. Some prefer group training – gain community, support each other, feel the energy and maybe even go to lunch or dinner together! And then others prefer a hybrid approach to fitness, where you have the focus you need with personal training combine with group training environment. Which one are you?

Our OnRamp coaches you through proper technique in all 6 Foundational Movement patterns. We coach you through proper technique, so you move safely AND we learn about HOW your body moves along the way.

How does the OnRamp program at HEALTH3 help me?
With the HEALTH3 OnRamp program, you don’t just sign up and hop in to group sessions with the coach knowing nothing about you, or you knowing nothing about the session. You don’t just sign up and start lifting heavy weight in personal training sessions. Those are both quick ways to get hurt and feel frustrated, and end up quitting your new fitness routine again. Have you been there? I know I have!
Our OnRamp program is designed to make sure you get the benefits of exercise that show up in your every day life.
Since we train you for what life throws at you outside of gym, we have to start by mastering the foundations in order to build upon them.
What are the 6 foundational movement patterns?
The 6 foundational movement patterns that are found in every day life are: squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull and carry.
- Squat: Sitting on the toilet, getting in and out of a car, sitting in a chair
- Hinge: Picking something up off the floor, bending over to pet an animal, picking up a child
- Lunge: Helps you get up off the floor, walking up stairs, hiking
- Push: Pushing a child on a swing, push yourself off the ground, pushing a grocery cart full of groceries or a child
- Pull: Pulling something off a shelf, pulling someone up off of the ground, pulling a restaurant door open
- Carry: Carrying a child, groceries, moving boxes, carrying luggage
We do teaching and assessment of each of these movements patterns by providing you with personal training sessions to start. After that, you begin either semi-private training, group training, or continue with personal training sessions to reach your goals. If there is more focus needed to excel in these foundational movements, we won’t hold you back from joining sessions if you feel ready, but we will continue working with you as needed to improve along the way.
