Hear me out. Macros matter, but so does the quality of your food! When following macros it’s easy to add in all the foods you still want to eat! Then add in fruits, veggies, fiber and whatever else fits your macros.
For example… 300 calorie pop tart vs 300 calorie oatmeal with egg whites. There’s huge macro and micro differences here. One is obviously healthier than the other!
One option is highly processed, FULL of sugar, simple carb. Not going to fill you up, give you energy and benefit you in any way! The other is high in protein, fiber, whole grains, vitamins and minerals. Keeps you satisfied, full and fueled, and benefits your body in so many ways!
