Your health is not an expense, it’s an investment!
Eating fast food 3x/week is an expense.
Eating a lot of processed food is an expense.
Drinking a lot of energy drinks, pop, sugary drinks, and alcohol are all an expense.
Having to take medication because you choose not to have better nutrition and/or not exercise is an expense.
Not exercising is an expense because the more immobile you are the more immobile you’ll be as you get older.
Not liking the way you feel is an expense because it takes up time mentally and emotionally. It keeps you from being fulfilled with your life.
Doing a different ‘fad diet’ a few times during the year is an expense.
Spending several hours on social media is an expense because it takes up your time.
Proper nutrition and exercise is an investment because you are increasing your physical, mental, and emotional health.
With proper nutrition and exercise you look better, feel better, think better, perform better, and overall be better.
I’m not going to tell you how to spend your money. That’s your money. Just don’t complain about your health because you don’t want to invest in it.
Think about the progress you could make in 3 months, 6 months, or a year. It could truly change your life! You have to make the investment.
The investment could be time, energy, or money. Here are 3 ways to invest in yourself:
1. Hire a coach or mentor. The quickest way to get from point A to point B is by working with someone who has done it already and has helped other people do it as well. I firmly believe everyone should have a coach or mentor. I have both that I invest in.
2. Change your environment of people. Meaning be around people who are striving for greater things in life. Put your energy into them and not those you want to stay complacent.
3. Where you spend your time is where your priorities are. Time is the most valuable asset. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Invest your time with people and things that are going to benefit your life not hinder it.
I created HEALTH3 to help people live long and healthy lives physically, mentally, and emotionally. This is our mission and we are doing just that!
